Chimney Sweep










Driver hat-Target, Blazer H&M-Goodwill, Dolman top-TJMaxx, Jeans-Target, Scarf-INC Macy's

My Mini Sweeps-Son and  Scooby(AKA-Camera Hogs)





 How did this happen?  I sort of just pulled this look together to head out into the chilly morning air and before I knew it, I was channeling Bert and singing Chim Chim Cher-ee!!

    I guess all I needed to complete the look was a smoky eye and a broom!

 I love Mary Poppins and now have a strong desire to watch it this weekend!! I guess I will settle for reading the book I checked out last week instead.

    I love the look!! To cute! I will say Sex and the City. There is nothing like putting on a great Carrie Bradshaw outfit and walking out the door feeling like you own the city! ;)

    Super cute! I adore Mary Poppins and I often say why can't I just snap my fingers to get all this stuff done. But I think my absolute fave is Alice in Wonderland. There was a movie from 1985 (yes I am old LOL) that I watched over and over again when I was a kid especially when I was home from school sick. Loved it and seriously found it on DVD and bought it to share with my nieces.

    I instantly got a chimney sweep vibe, but in the best possible way :) Comfortable, but still put together — like all great outfits should be :)

    I am loving that hat, and genuinely lamenting the fact that it's unlikely I'd ever be able to get my curls to fit under it properly.

    I heart everything about this look! It's just too cute.
    I like to pretend my life is a musical and will sing just about anything from "Mahogany", "Lady Sings the Blues", or "The Wiz".

      Thank you! Mahoghany was my favorite movie growing up. I am not sure given some of the scenes, why my mother let me watch?? Oh well, mother and child of the 70's!! LOL

    i love the look! this is so chic. there's something fab about putting on a hat and suddenly it pulls together an outfit!!! i'm jealous because i tried that hat on and it didn't fit me right. i wanted it bad. and seeing it on you makes me wish it had looked good on me :)

    haha you are adorable. I am loving that blazer/jean combo on you. I've never actually watched all of Mary Poppins. I think it got too weird and my young brain didn't understand it all. Maybe I need to go back and watch it now :)

      Thank you so much! I was actually thinking of buying a Kangol and saw this at Tar-jay for $6!! I thrifted the blazer 2 years ago while visiting family in TX. My sister became a "believer" (Goodwill)after I paid $4!!! Holla!
