A Full Plate and A Cup That Has Run Over

I guess you were probably wondering where I've been the last couple of weeks?  I have been trying to figure that out myself as well.  I originally thought that it was some sort of a writer's rut or block.  Then I had a whole new revelation.  It's funny how a few little tweaks and adjustments to your "schedule" can throw things off a bit.  I'll give you a quick glimpse into what I have been up to lately.  I sat for sometime recently pondering these things and discovered that, this is just where I am at the moment.  No matter how much I have tried to post and blog, it just has not either felt right, or been time allotted.

So, without further adieu: I have been taking a Boot Camp on Monday and Wednesdays, volunteering at my oldest daughter's school, running my son to Flag Football and sharing carpool to Soccer for my youngest daughter on Tuesdays, leading a table of women in bible study on Thursdays and cleaning, running errands, working out, preparing for bible study, catching up on house stuff, meeting friends that I neglected throughout the week, having lunch with my children at school, on Friday!! Oh, and I almost forgot that we rescued a little furry miracle named, SCOOBY!!  He is a Rat Terrier(sort of Jack Russell-ish, but much calmer) and so cute.  I think he actually rescued us, because he is exactly what we prayed for in a dog.  The kids are having a ball with him.

Whew! So, there you have it, my life in a snapshot.  I am sure I left a few deets out, but you get the idea.  I am really overwhelmed and I am not ashamed to admit it.  I know that there is a season for everything in our lives, and frankly this is my busy time.  So, I guess I will just embrace it and give thanks to the God who sustains me through it all.  Psalm 54:4 Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.

What about you?  When you are running on empty, who sustains you?
