#Our Project 52/ #9 In My Cup

**Disclaimer** photography is not only a skill, but an artform.  Hat tip to LaShawn and many other photographers for making it "look" easy!

Taken by pointing Canon Rebel EOS T3 pointing directly in to cup
Creative Setting

It was difficult holding the camera steady and pouring the creamer.

Ah, Cheers!

What's in my cup is usually water, after I have my morning coffee.  I really like coffee, ok maybe I love coffee, but not on the expert level, but more of a taste, comfort level.  I remember my first time drinking coffee as a means to bond with fellow early birds at work, it sort of became a "thing" before the day's madness commenced.  From what I remembered the coffee we drank at work was not really that great!!  This was long before I was introduced to that famous chain's coffee.  Even now it's not the actual coffee taste per se, but the coffee mixed with cream as I mentioned a few posts ago.  I'm not even too picky about the coffee I drink.  I have had some wonderful gas station...gasp...coffee and the coffee I favor now I buy at the grocer or mass retailers.  The bottom line is that hot, creamy, coffee in a pretty mug is just a little treat that I start the day with.
What's in your cup?
Happy Weekend!

  1. Every morning, I wake up before everyone else and work out. After my workout, I sit and relax and have a cup of coffee by myself. I love the ritual of it, too.

  2. I never drink coffee...only tea or juice or water and milk. A drink of water to start the day with and then milk and later tea :)) I hope you have a great weekend xx

  3. I've been drinking lots of water lately. I gave up soda and wine for Lent and I've seen such a big difference in my body. I think I'm going to stick with not drinking soda. I never got into coffee but from the looks of this week's posts I'm def in the minority on that!

  4. I drink hot water. LOL like an old lady. I used to be a very big tea drinker, but then it started staining my teeth too much and since I have super sensitive teeth I chose to give it up rather than putting up with the pain of getting the stains removed.

Now people look at me like a weirdo when I order hot water. I'm a very cheap date though! LOL

  7. My cup is usually filled with a nice creamy chai latte in the winter. In the summer I like a hot cup of lemonade.

  8. My first sip of coffee came from my Daddy's cup when i was very young. He loved coffee with his sugar so it was veeeeery sweet. I didn't try it again until i started working night shift. 15 years later.....

  9. Yummy coffee! I love coffeemate creamers. It makes me feel like home coffee can be just as good as that infamous chain or at least that is what I tell myself! No gasp from me re gas station coffee. I've gotten some pretty tasty coffee from some and I think it's always a jackpot when they have multiple creamer flavors. AND CHEAP!!!

    Great pics!

  11. Well, my cup is acquainted with many different things:) Sometimes I'm a real coffeeholic, sometimes I drink only green tea, sometimes I drink black tea with milk or herbal teas with thyme. I can continue indefinitely:)!
