I am so glad that I did not follow these rules when I started sewing a few months ago. I do agree however, about having a clear mind when starting a project. I can not begin to share how so many simple things took me so much longer to finish because I was interacting with the kids. A quiet, stress-free environment, clean dishes or not, is best in my opinion when sewing.

ReplyDeletei love this. i really wish i knew how to sew. my mom always does all the sewing. she's tried to teach me but i'm not meticulous and always try to wing things. that doesn't work.
