Floral+Straps



I recently went to a wedding of one of my fellow running mates.  It was such a lovely day out with dear friends celebrating the union of soul mates.  I opted to wear a dress that I have in my closet that you have seen before and a pair of shoes I got over the summer.  I have to be honest and share that the shoes were not my original choice for the dress.  I became a member of one of the online shoe clubs and ordered a pair of pumps that would elevate the look.  Well, the shoes came the day of the wedding, actually before I left my driveway!! Of course there was no time to break them in, so I went with the pair you see here.  In the end, this was the wisest choice for being on my feet and doing the Cupid Shuffle!!  Unfortunately, when I got home and tried on the "perfect" shoes, they were too small. *Sigh*!!  Oh well, I'm so glad for free returns/shipping.

  Can you do the Cupid Shuffle in them??

    Gorgeous! I love your dress. I think it looks great with the shoes. I love doing the Cupid Shuffle at weddings!

    Shon!! I was so excited to see a new post from you pop up on my sidebar! I love the outfit- but I especially love the 'sewing nook'! Have you done much sewing over the summer? I did a little but haven't gotten around to blogging about it yet. Too much "real life" going on ;) Hopefully soon. Good to see you girl!

    Such a lovely dress, Shon:) Perfect for a wedding. And it's good you didn't wear the new shoes. I've worn too-small shoes before, and it's definitely hard to dance in them:D

    That dress is so pretty!

    Argh. Shoes. Impossible to know how they will feel on your feet. I often can't even get it right when I try them on in the store. I mean, they feel perfectly fine for the whole 1 minute I'm wearing them in the store. It's when I have to walk for more than 5 minutes in them that I learn, um yeah...this are like little torture chambers on my feet! So needless to say...I do not buy shoes online.

    My favorite shoes for dancing are silver ones from JustFab. They're a workhorse and don't hurt my toes even with the pointy toes. I can dance in them.

    Your outfit came together nicely! Cute dress.

    Atlanta is working for me. Love this weather. :)

    Love love love!!! That dress is too cute. I'm also digging the shoes. I like heels but since I started running, I have a hard time with them. Not sure why.
